This special day I want to remind you about our LCC Xmas :)

Some thoughts one of our members:

I can't believe that one year since my first conference on @ passed so quickly... so many happends on this year. This conference was special for me. I didn't expect so many knowladge, but some sessione was very useful and curiously routed. Christmas LCC is good time to think about yourself, our future (not only in AIESEC). We had special opportunity to celebrate this time. It was one year when we meet with Jankowska. It was one year when Michał came back to @. It was 20th conference of Michalska. I think I will remember for a long time Christmas dinner, Ola's speech, Santa Claus, my gift (I got the best gift without any discussion!!!). I think that all members who's participate on this LCC needed it. I'm so proud of my exOC - Wiola, she was OCP of this conference. I think that everybody needs time like this - time for relax, thiniking about yourself and time for a good fun :)

I couldn't wait this conference. Together with out LCC team we spend so many time to prepare this conference. I wanted see results of our job.And when we start first plennary... when I saw smile on the delegate's faces, when I heard all of shout I was fuckin happy that I could be part of team which create this conference.

On this conference we got a big dose of knowledge, among other things about coaching, new @ Way, seeling. Of course we didn't forget about patry... On the first night we were vampires, ghosts and another scary monsters like everybody on Halloween. On second night we moved to India...

On Saturday's evening we knew new members of our projects (myslę że tutaj możesz wypisać kto do jakiego projektu trafił). After alocation projects was time for integration new teams ;)

Sunday was time for last sessions. We said good bye with our chair - Rodrigo from Brasil and we run to our home. We came back to Toruń full of motivation and positive energy!

EuroCo 2011

Euro Co 2011 took place in Prague 17^th – 23^rd October 2011.

The “European Congress”, called “EuroCo” is the annual summit for AIESEC’s local committee presidents of two regions, Europe and North America. With around 200 participants coming from all over Europe and North America, EuroCo acted as an international meeting platform for more than 40 countries.

The main goal of workshops, discussions and seminars was to provide the delegates with important “soft-“ and “hard-skills” for their work in their local committees. Moreover, EuroCo represented a platform for networking and discussion about relevant world topics as well as exchanging and cultural experience.

The local committee presidents had the chance to exchange their ideas and experience with each other and build friendships. We took part in two Global Villages, Czech Day, Gala Night, and many parties. Me as an LCP really enjoyed the conference I recommend my successors.

Hello Dear Members,

as you know (i hope, that each of you knows),

Last Saturday was the General Assembly Meeting. We have spent 8 hours sitting in the Faculty of Economics and voting on three motions:

1. Confer Formal Member Statut for:

- Katarzyna Biernat;

- Wioletta Bzdera;

- Paulina Chojna;

- Agnieszka Dąbrowska;

- Gosia Kufel;

- Sylwia Pałgan;

- Kuba Rybicki.

All candidates received the Formal Member Statut.

I was so proud of candidates, cause all of them were well prepared. They had really good, interesting presentations, were prepared to the questions and answered maturely. Now, We have 30 Formal Members in our Committee.

2. Confer the Exoneration for OCPs:

- Magda Bącela, "CSR Project";

- Dorota Jankowska Diversity Weekend;

- Maciej Krzemień "Discover Asia";

- Oskar Waśko "Expand Internationally;

- Adam Żytkowski "Summer Camp".

All OCPs received the Exoneration.

3. Confer vote of trust for OCPs and Coordinator:

During the GA two Awards were given.

Awards Received:

- Gosia Kufel for Most Active Member during Summer Holidays,

and

- Karolina Murawska for engagement and hard work during vacation as a Reception Coordinator! Huge Congratulations for You Girls !

Next Award - "Award for Most Active Member During Recruitment" will be given during October LCC !!!

Then LC VPs presented information about news and current state in Local Committee:

- VP TM presented the events schedule for next month (the schedule is in annex);

- VP OGX&PR presented OGX update and information about Promotion of Recruitment;

- VP ICX presented ICX update;

- VP F presented Finance Current State

- VP ER presented her new ER Assistant: Magda Bącela.

Spanish Party!!!

On 5th of August we had Spanish party in EB flat. Our intern from Ernesto Rúa from Spain, LC Valladolid.

He prepared for us traditional Spanish food - tortilla and shrimps, drink - sangria. It was very delicious :) We spent great evening with all interns and our members. When we ate and drank we go on old town to Rewolucja club. We danced for a long time. Plamen was King of the dance floor :p In the midnight we came back together to EB flat and we went to our beds exhausted but happy.

After this party all girls told that Ernesto is the best candidate on husband because he is great cook, cleaner and dancer :)

We are waiting on next cultural evening :D

Central European Congress 2011!

Two of our members – Marta Franciszczak oraz Marta Michalska – between 26.07 and 31.07 were participating in Central European Congress in Hungary! It was their first international conference and they were very excited about it.

On the spot Marta & Marta have met many people from various European countries and established new friendships J With the rest of Polish delegates they were attending sessions on International track.

During one of the days all delegates prepared flash mob in the streets of Győr.

Sumco 2011

From 14th to 17th of July our Committee was hosting Sumco 2011 conference!

It was the second Sumco conference organised by our Committee and by far the best one ;)

For the first time national conference was taking place in beautiful city of Toruń :) Delegates were sleeping in dormitories no 10 & 11 and all sessions were delivered at amazing NCU campus, mainly Faculty of Economics.

Of course there was also time to have some fun, thanks to "Od Nowa" students club for allowing us to use their club.

Sumco 2011 OCP, OC and our Committee received awards for organizing this conference. There was also another suprise - our LC received permission to organise next Sumco conference - Sumco 2012!!! We truly believe that it's going to be even better than this year edition ;)

When it was over, tired but extremely motivated and happy, we went back to our flat;)

Special thanks to our University for helping us and allowing us to organise this special event at our campus. Thank you delegates, thank you faci and especially thank you our wonderful Sumco 2011 OC!!

LCM 05.05.2011 - crucial moment for our LC

On 5th May our Committee had very important LCM!

Our Executive Board decided to reaveal part of their plans for upcomming term 2011/2012 ;)

In the beginning we introduced to LC our new coach - Rafał Chmura, and we presented both vision of our EB for the next term and vision of AIESEC in Poland 2016!

But, it was just the beginning ;) The high point of our meeting was presentation of one of our most important priorities in 2011/2012,

RUN EXPANSION PROGRAM FOR BYDGOSZCZ!

That means we want to set up AIESEC Initiative Group in Bydgoszcz, which we believe will became LC Bydgoszcz in the nearest future!

It is an ambitious goal, but we will make it!

Input 2011

The second conference we have took part with the whole EB, was INPUT. The INPUT is the most significiant conference, because during this event Executives Boards are planning their actions to the upcoming term.

At night, from Tuesday to Monday, while the majority of our team was still sleeping, our LCP Ola with our VPF Michał set off to the Sulejów. They had to travel at night, because of financial test next morning. They passed it at the first run. Together we met on Wednesday morning at a place, where Ewelina - OC SumCO was waiting for us.

In the first day we were presented a vision of 2016 by MC. Thus we received a huge dose of knowledge, indispensable to further planning. This day, we were so tired that we fell asleep as soon as the plenary has finished. We expected three, especially hot, days of planning . Therefore, we had to thoroughly rest.

Next days delivered to us knowledge from individual branches. We made use of this wisdom during projecting our term. Meanwhile we were eating corn crisps and discussing (not only about the Schedule). It made us a big pleasure. On Thursday we accomplished work after midnight. It was a record for us!

Our planning was crowned by the ceremonial Gala. The MC presented the plans of the whole AIESEC, based on the plans of all committees. AIESEC Poland planed 2736 exchange in 2011 ! I have to point, that everybody was very satisfied, excited and they felt proud of such intensive and efficient work. Moreover, we were convinced, that together we could achieve everything we had planned.

On Sunday we had to come home. We missed the bus, so some of us decided to go hitch-hiking.

Besides of hard work and endless hours spending In room on planning, I can’t forget about funny situation with a jam. We will never forget Radek Świszcz - he took care about regular delivers of jam and, of course, about athletees which again unexpectedly arrived in the same resort. This time they were wrestlers. Now, we wonder who will we meet on SumCo.

EuroXpro 2011

Between 16-22 March 200 young leaders from over 50 countries and territories, were converging the most impactful AIESEC conferences in Europe – the EuroXPro 2011. Poland was represented by delegation of 22 people including me - Ola Napierała. This year, EuroXPro was organized in the captivating country – Estonia. The purpose of EuroXPro was to provide platform for self-development, practical skills, organizational information and networking opportunities to leaders of AIESEC to be able to prepare them for their leadership role. EuroXPro is a conference for MC and LCP elects in WENA and CEE region. All delegates came to develop the strategic direction in CEE and WENA GNs through the elaboration of IPM strategies and the development of action plans. The theme of the event was youth mobility, and it was focused on a multitude of issues such as sustainability, youth led impact movements, ethical business, emerging markets, and labour mobility. Me and other delegates took part in conference with external estonian audience, Global Village in big hipermarket in Tallin, banquet, parties and many trainings. The time I spend there was amazing. It was my first international conference and I hope not the last. I learnt a lot by sharing experience with people form other countries , I had opportunity to talk with AI and specially Hugo Pereira and I also made some friends. I honestly recomend everyone to go for international conference!!!

Local Career Days ® 2011

23 of March will be remember as a day of great succes. Carrer Days 2011 ® was a big event. 6 month of hard work. 8 completely different people, whom had to work with each other and tried not to kill themselves;). It’s was big challange.

At first, when we realized that we are a team now and there’s a lot things to do, we are so scray, but also excited. But there was no time to sentiments. It was time to work.

We have been going to negotiate with companies, which were stressfull but also funny job, we had to organize place, time, promotion and everythig to make Career Days® happened.

But we wasn’t working all the time. There was also some time to partying, baking cakes, eating Kutia and teaching a rabbit to do some tricks. ;)

Week before job fair, we had promotion party in Kotłownia. Many people was come to have a great time with us. On our part

y we have some competioions for students, with very nice award. As it turned out, it was excellent, effective way for promotional event.

On the day before Carrer Days® our office looked like a mess. We had sooo many things to do, food to buy, phonecalls to do and many other things. Without our committee help it would be so much harder. Most of our members were engaged in the preparations. We have stayed in University for all evening to make sure, that everything will be at the right place next day, and also to eat some pizza then. :)

Finally, when the Big Day comes, everybody was excited. We were dressed up, nice smelling and ready to work. We had to take care of 26 companies wich wanted to present themselves on Carrer Days®, and also take care of companies witch lead some trainings for students. Among them were our local strategic partner- Lidl and national strategic partner- Nestle, national company like Unilever, PwC, Danone, Deloitte and of course local company for example Neuca. We worked together with Biuro Karier. Everyone of us was supposed to take care of one of that companies. There’s so many students, and other pepole who visited us in that day to talk with future employers, take part in some trainings and meet some interesting poeple. Our job fair attracted media attention. There were quite a number reporters from radio, TV and press. They all wanted to make a journalist material about Career Days®. We were so satisfied!

At the same time, 22, 23 and 24th on March, took place Academy of Skills. It is the merits part of Career Days®. During this three days, our Torun students could participated in 32 trainings prepared by professional company. This trainings mostly focused on enterprise, recruitment process, career path and development of soft skills such as autopresentation and leadership abilities.

The companies, the students and also our team was very satisfied after Carrer Days®.
We was so tired, but as happy as it’s possible.
It was a great event and we want to invite you on Carrer Days® in next year !!!

Hello Dear Committee!!

Today is the first day when new Executive Board starts their term 2011/2012. I cannot believe that everything was so fast!! There is many things I would like to share with you right now... I will write you the most important things after this amazing year as LCP :)

My journey started when I decided to apply for LCP 2010/2011 one day...long time ago ;) Maybe not all of you know that I applied for LCP 1 year earlier (from OCP position). But this wasn't time for me then. So when I was VP TM, many people said that I will be LCP next year and sometimes I felt like it was their decision, not mine. And I remember the day (1 day before DDL) when I came to Kinga's dorm and I told her that I will not apply as LCP. Kinga, do you remember this ? :) We had long conversation and finally I decided to apply (and it was best decision I've ever had!). I knew that it was about what i want to change, what I want to achieve and what I want to do with people in the Committee. Kinga, thank you very much for that conversation!! :*

So I applied and... I was chosen. It was 6th of February, I will remember this day for a long time. My life has changed a lot from that time. I've got my EB (Ola, Dorota, Maja, Łukasz, Kamila, Bartek), we had many meetings, conversations, conferences, planning and work hard during holidays. It was great time of working with people who were totally different than me, learning from each other, dealing with each other and trying to live with each other in one house (Wyspiańskiego 26/3 - EB flat, I will always have a sentiment to that flat :) ).

It was a hard time of challanges, adventures, making tough decisions, making me more aware of who I am and what I want to achieve. A time of persistence, time which tauhgt me how to think positive and how do not resign from goals I set. Time spend with lot of great people from different countries, of working on my weaknesses and improve my organisational skills. Time of learning from mistakes and celebrate successes. A time which I wish all of you to have one day :)

Thanks especially for my EB: Ola, Dorota, Aśka and Michał!! You are great people I've learnt so much from. Thank you for your engagement, fun, smile and that you were a support in hard moments. For your openess, enthusiasm and motivation to do more each day. For many hours spent on planning :) and discussing, for your work in departments and new things and initiatives you initiated. I hope you leant a lot, drawn conclusions and this experience will help you in the future :) You will be my EB, the best EB for ages!! Love you guys!! :)

Thank you my Middle Management: M&M (M.M.), Franek (M.F.), Andzia, Aga, Modzel, Madziaboć, Daga, Natalia, Zakościelny, Seba and Malwina. Most of you did a great job!! It's your work that made results to our Committee. It's also your success that we had many Interns in or Committee and also we send many people abroad. Thanks for your engagement in @week, in LCCs, in all we did in LC, for each meeting we had and also for your feedback to EB which was very essential and thanks to you we could make better work :) I know that sometimes you had enought ;p but anyway we did a great job!!

47 eXchanges!! It's a second best result in LC history!!

And we did it!

I would also like to thank our Marvelous Middle Management: Maciek, Dorota, Magda, Adam, Oskar, Ewelina, Zako, Jowita, Ania. You are just gorgeous!! You have so much of positive energy and motivation! I'm waiting for your next successes (you already have some) and I know that I will see amazing results on your absolutory G.A..

Thanks also Newees who joined our LC! You are the future of our LC! Already have successes, many of you had meetings and will have in the near future. I wish you to gain from AIESEC as much as you want, take each opportunity and do not be affraid of challanges. It's all about them - remember that things are scary only the first time :)) Go for conferences, talk to people, gain knowledge and experience, share and may your dreams and goals come true. Remember - it's always up to you!

Many thanks also for people who helped me a lot during this term. It's of course Alumi (Kinga again :), Łukasz, Ewelina, Zielak, Klisiewka, Misiek, Ania J., Ania F. i inni). Thank you for your support, for workshops you delivered to our members, for each conversation and advice I had from you. I know that you are helpful and full of positive attitude to us - hope next EBs will also gain from you a lot.

What more i can say... It was really amazing year for me. I wish you to have such moments in your life which will change you for ever and give you a lot of power to act. Which will make you believe that everything is possible when you just want it!

MutliTO! 9-13.03.2011

This was our first common national conference, which durable five days. At the conference we met all Executive Board in the next term from whole Poland, old and new members of MC.

Our chair was Katerina from Czech Republic.
Now she is in MC in Russia.Katerina was very cheerful and funny person. We were going to the plenary with joy, because she always prepared for us something new and exciting.

Finally we met our commissions!

The second day was devoted to integration. We participated in trainings and after all commissions wanted to know each other better, so we spent the evening together. We talked a lot and we played crazy games :)

All this to the next day to start a fully integrated common work. We had a lot of useful training courses, we shared our experiences and ideas. Every day brought something new, something we can use in our work. In this way we work in our commissions 3 days.

Saturday was a very important day for AIESEC in Poland because was presented vision of 2016!

In the evening took place the Global Village. Each committee presented typical drink and we had fun :)

The next day sessions are for all commission, our EB participated in the session about the X + L and how to promote the outgoing exchange. After that was time to pack up, closing plenary, sugar cubes and back home.
We arrived to Torun at 3 am - tired but with power and full motivation to action:)

MEGA Conference 2011 & Future EB Team Days!

MEGA:
Immediately after the General Assembly new Executive Board took their suitcases and went on Team Days - destionation was unknown. LCP has suprised new EB members. We went at MEGA Conference 24-26 of February 2011.

Conference in this year has got two tracks: selling and marketing and financial.
This time gave us opportunities to acquire knowledge. It was very important for us because we started to know each other. We have met a lot of people from all over the country and learned a lot of useful things about selling and marketing and finances.

TEAM DAYS:
When we came back to Toruń on 27 of February we continued our Team Days. That day was very important because we created our vision and values to which we will aim in this year. We also had a lot of funny and difficult tasks which helped us to find out many new things about ourselfs. We spent all day together and we decided to cook common lunch. It was very funny and the spaghetti was delicious!!! We surely will do that again in future! This day spent together has put smiles on our faces and we discovered how much things we have in common. We want to spend more time and work together because we know that only in team we can achieve our goals.

Welcome and Goodbye!

On 5th of February we've all met together to welcome Larissa Sadykova and to say goodbye to our member Asia Królikowska and our trainee Ya-Wen Ho!

We've started our party from a flat on St. Katarzyna street. Not only AIESEC'ers have been on this party. A lot of people were in this relatively small yardage!

Later we decide to go to Carpe Diem, but when we came to the club there was no place enough to take all together, so we went to Kotłownia club. We had a lot of fun!

Let's say few words about this people.

Larisa Sadykova came to us from Sankt Petesburg in Russia and she is on Management Traineeship in Planika - company located 10 km from Bydgoszcz (and about 60 km from our Committee). She will be on practice to the end of April, but who knows maybe she will be with us longer. In Planica she is responsible for contacts with Russian company and she translate Russian documents for company.
Larisa likes to travel

Asia Królikowska worked in AIESEC Unemployed project and she was Diversity Team Coordinator. Now she is going to Belgium to study. Asia! We wish you many success and smiles every day!

Ya-Wen Ho came to us at the beginning of November and she were living with one of our local committee member. She were on Educational Internship in language school - Pigmalion in Toruń. She have been in Birmingham one year on exchange. In Poland, except Toruń she visited Olsztyn, Cracow, Wrocław, Kodowie Zdrój, Malbork and Warsaw.
On the sixth of February Ya-Wen went to Taiwan and say goodbye to Poland. We will miss you!

Three people fascinated with traveling to other countries and discovering unknown. We hope to see you all again! All the best for you!

Ola Napierała - new president AIESEC Toruń UMK!

Ola Napierała - new president AIESEC Toruń UMK On General Assembly, 20.01.2011 we had chosen the new President of AIESEC Toruń UMK.

It is the highest and the most important function on local level.

Ola had to answer many difficult questions - about her vision of 20011/2012 cadence and our LC in general.

Many of the members asked personal questions about herself and her personal life vs. AIESEC ;P

Ola was stressed but she didn’t show it and faced the challenge very well. She showed us her vision very clearly and her commitment was and still is impressing.

Every single committee member voted on HER!!! She has our full suppor as a new PRESIDENT of AIESEC Toruń UMK.

After G.A. we went to celebrate that unique event to the local club- Mr. Capone.

Ola BIG congratulations for You! :)

We know You’ll be great president of LC AIESEC Toruń UMK .

and now... We are waiting for the...soon to come...new EB.

NatCo (KK) 2011!

Big conference, nervous elections and explosive fun! Yeah, that was National Conference in Sielpa near Kielce in Poland! Our delegation was here too! Here are some words form us who was on this gorgeous event:

I think KK is the best national conference!
I was a year ago, I liked it and I wanted to do it again this year. I was not disappointed.
I met wonderful people who make AIESEC Poland.
I had the opportunity to be at General Assembly, where a Local Committee Rzeszów was voted and the selection of a new MCP!
The conference met my expectations: motivated and gave answers to my questions. I recommend to all such conferences!

The National Conference was unique for me because I participated in the elections of MCP and I was a witness to confer the status of the Local Committee, the Initiative Group of Rzeszów. I met many new people and also met up with old friends.
Thanks to the people with whom I spoke!
I know what I want to do next in life. The conference gave me a lot of joy and positive attitude, and has mobilized me to act! :)

Natco 2011 began the new year with a big bang! Four days of hard work, great fun and integration. Hard-fought presidential election AIESEC Poland. From there, I congratulate Ola Sosnówka. Opening a the Local Committee Rzeszów. Who was not at the conference, let him regret it.

NatCo 2011 was the most impactful conference during my whole AIESEC Experience! Many historical moments, amazing people, excitement and atmosphere of success - I will never forget it. New MCP elected (we love you Ola, we do!!) and new LC opened - LC Rzeszów! I saw the process of creation LC rzeszów from the very beginning and I am very proud of the whole LC. Proud of EB and especially of Rafał because for me he is the symbole of success of Rzeszów. Good luck Rzeszów, good luck AIESEC Poland!!!

The LCC was an interesting opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, especially returning AIESEC alumni who shared their valuable life experience. The talks were designed to motivate and challenge students in the fields of leadership and responsibility. It was an excellent chance to socialise with interns from all over the world, forge new friendships and learn about other cultures. Overall, it was a very educational experience where each participant got to know themself better.

11th November - Polish Independence Day!

On 11th November a group of Interns, buddies and some other members went to the Old Town on Celebrations of Polish Independence Day. We ate goose meat, tasting traditional polish alcohols on market made specially on this occasion. After that we went to eat delicious pancakes in Manekin in the centre of the Old Town. Everyone had a great time chatting and laughing. It was a good occasion to know each other better. After eating, some of us went to the cinama and some to Marta's and Ola's flat to smoke shisha.

For sure we will have more occasions like this to integrate ;)

October 22-24 A.D. 2010. Friday, Saturday and Sunday ...

In a village with a mysterious name Lidzbark unusual things were happening. Our tribe - AIESEC Toruń UMK - met to officially announce the leaders of new groups of people who by challenging hot deserts, crossing dense jungle forests as pudding, will jointly seek an environment where everyone could strive to improve their skills.

Atmosphere during the meeting made our Chair - Khaled Masmmoudi from a distant country of Tunisia, where the heat of the sun and sands of the desert is something natural for the residents of this unique land. He sent a new people and older tribesmen in the mystical world of Africa.

In this great meeting, attended only the best. New chosen ones were assigned to the relevant projects conducted by the newly elected leaders:

OCP Natalia Gostomczyk - leader of AIESEC University with a head full of ideas. Along with Maciej Krzemień, Joanna Wyrzykowska, Katarzyna Szatkowska, Paulina Szymańska and Maja Cholewińska they will organize workshops in which the other tribes will be able to learn a foreign language civilization.

OCP Magdalena "Madziaboć" Boc - charismatic leader of Expanding Hirozons. There are rumors that she could take each strain. Even weighing 260 pounds! In this undertaking help her will people “charakterologically” matched to this project: Patrycja Król, Daria Szałwińska, Dominika Strzyżewska, Rafał Góras, Kasia Otto and Maciej Bochenek.

OCP Dagmara Godos – AIESEC Charity. New blood in the tribe AIESEC Toruń. The elders decided that Dagmara will be able to lead people to achieve at the very beginning of the AIESEC Experience. With the help of Kasia Kasprowicz, Ania Kawecka, Kasia Czarny will fight valiantly to show their skills referring to future cooperation with NGOs.

OCP Malwina Rutkowska – she once again is leader of the group. This time she wants to show her strength, leading Enter your Future, in which her new confreres Jowita Jędras, Hanna Berenthal, Paulina Komoszyńska, Dorota Jankowska, Bartosz Lewandowski will summon scholars who will deliver learning about entrepreneurship.

OCP Sebastian Przybył– Shamanic assistant Sebastian Przybył and new members of the tribe Mateusz Piskozub and Marta Mendalka of acting Brand Team will spread the news of the deeds of AIESEC reaching people in all territories.

OCP Andżelika Dudek – Once a project co-organized Dni Kariery, which is the largest job fairs, and internships. Now she has the opportunity to lead this project and her group of nine people, including two highest-ranking warriors: Agnieszka Bauer and Mateusz Modzelewski and seven new adepts: Lidia Traczykowska, Adam Żytkowski, Magda Bącela, Agata Dreżewska, Adam Grzonkowski, Ewa Koselak and Paweł Rzymyszkiewicz to achieve even better results.

OCP Agnieszka Zakościelna – Another, a new person in the tribe AIESEC Toruń, which the Executive Board has chosen the leader. Her vision will be organizing another great tribal assembly known as the LCC, which will be held in December. Thanks to Oskar Waśko, Olga Borowska, Karolina Murawska and Paulina Janowska this vision becomes reality.

To the AIESEC Toruń also joined a mysterious newcomer - Ibrahim, who along with Anita Jarońska will take steps to ensure arrival from distant countries providing them care and entertainment.

During this event were communicated a lot of precious knowledge, we held ritual dances, people were dressed in various costumes of the night games.

Three days of new experiences, unforgettable memories and a lot of explosive fun...

TEAM DAYS

Oh yeah!!!

It was really amazing time which we had spent together!! Two days - one night. In the beginning , in the early morning we met in dormitory of Eunika - she had some small game for us , we spend some time on talking and than we decided to go for dinner to Chinese restaurant to eat food by chop sticks.

After that we had gone for bowling. As I remember it was tough competition and at least Bartek won but still it was good fun.

Tired after such a nice day we came back to Bartek apartment with an idea to watch a movie together. Unfortunately everyone instead of Eunika, Ola, and Dorota had fallen asleep at 8 pm, but we really enjoyed our Pulp Fiction and House. Next day brought us more excitement!! In the morning we went to line park in Barbarka forest.

For Ola it was really terrifying but with help of rest of EB she managed this and she didn't give up. We had tried ourselves in team work.

After such a wonderful time we came back to home and together cooked spaghetti. This time showed us that together we can not only work but also have really good fun!!!!

Hey!

As you know the Executive Board (EB) was working during holidays. I bet that you're wondering what exactly we were doing...

Three months it's a lot of time!!

So...shortly:

. we did AIESEC University project (I round)
-promote courses (if you want to know more - go on facebook --> AIESEC Torun UMK)
-recruited almost 40 people, nearly 30 were attending classes
-matched 1 form and had beautiful and kind Assiya from Kazachstan in our project :)
-organized English and Russian workshops for participants
-organized Global Village at the end of workshops.

. we attended Summer Conference where we planned all activities which will happen till May 2011

. we had LC visit
- a member from Member Committee (MC, AIESEC in Poland) - Ola Sosnowka (our coach from MC) came to us and we spent very intensive 2 days of conversation, analyses and sum up our plans

. we had Autumn Conference (you can see the post before that one) ;)

And... we planned our fields - each one of us worked at our priorities, things we have to use during our term.

Unforgetable conference - SumCo 2010

Hey LC Torun!

How are you? As you know on our blog you can always write what's happening in your life, in your work and how much you miss our LC ;)

I would like to add some words about SumCo 2010. It was one of the best conferences I attended (it was about 30 of them).
I spend 5 days with people from whole Poland, with people I see each 2 months. With dear members from our LC (Modzel I am waiting on my fan) and with LCPs of all Local Committees in Poland. Those are people which as me lead LCs and have similar problems and sussecces as I have. It is a great opportunity to share with them, to ask them about different things and to talk about daily activities.

SumCo has 2 tracks: EB and Selling track. EB track was mainly about functional meetings so we could gather essential knowledge to manage our areas.

There was also a special moment for Executive Boards - Official Gala with LC and MC plans presentation which took place in a Palace 10 minuter from our venue. It was time when each LCP has presented priorities and plans of LC and put the number of exchanges on a special map of Poland. After this we had celebrating our goals with champagne, talks and a lot of photos :)

During SumCo we had also some free time. You can see a photo below. It is "Bóbr" River in Zagan :)

I hope that each one of you will have the opportunity to experience such great moments as I did.

SumCo 2010!

From 14th to 18th of July 2010 our Executive Board and some people form Middle Management from our Committee were been on national conference - SumCo 2010!

There was an amazing time in mysterious town Żagań, short way off Zielona Góra.
The entire conference was held in an atmosphere of ancient times.

The main course of this conference was Selling Track for Middle Management. We have gained a lot of knowledge in the sales, auto-presentation, servicing, promotion and a lot, lot more. I was very satisfied with the knowledge I've got. Our Selling Track song was "Selling jest na fali, sia la la, la laa!" :D

We have met and knew many people from another Local Committees. We've enjoyed the party were we have Boat Race, lots of @ dance's and the last crazy party was Global Villlage where each Committee has its own special.
Unforgettable experience, people and many hours of hard working and... yeah!
Our Committee won THE BEST DELEGATION AWARD!!!

General Assembly - 28.06.2010

On 28 of June we had in our Local Committee second General Assembly. Meeting where ten members of our comity were gained a vote of trust and also 9 people were trying to became an official member.

In result every candidate got a vote of trust and became on OCP or coordinator. We've also got a new official members of AIESEC Toruń UMK. Congratulations for Katarzyna Haydasz, Natalia Gostomczyk, Sebastian Przybył, Mateusz Szymczak, Agnieszka Bauer, Andżelika Dudek, Marta Franciszczak, Anita Jarońska, Magda Boć.

Asia comment:
The General Assembly was as always a great event for our committee, obviously not excluding myself. I was getting a vote of trust for the possition of Foundraising Coordinator that day. To be honest it was not as exciting this time, as it was when I was getting it for the first time for Career Days Coordinator. I would say- constuetudo altera natura; which means someting like "habit is our second nature". I gues I got use to passing that kind of exams and after being in a committee for so long i became an old stager;)

Anita said:
In Monday (28.06.2010) our LC AIESEC Toruń UMK had General Assembly on which I've got status of regular member and vote of trust for being Diversity Coordinator. I am really excited about it. It makes me feel that all my work in AIESEC, when I was newee, was good and other AIESEC members appreciate it. I am also really motivated to work and feel huge need to develop myselfe skills and knowledge and make our LC the best LC in the world!!! ;)

Magda statement:
For me from the very beginning it was particularly tough day as I had to pass the whole test about knowledge about AIESEC. Fortunately, I managed to pass it. Then, when the meeting begun and all future OCPs and Coordinators were asked several questions I thought that it was a great opportunity for us to let the whole LC know us better and to prove that we are appropriate people in appropriate places. I was very glad when I got Vote of trust because it gave me the chance to have my own team and as a result to improve myself in the future.

Marta opinion :
This general meeting was very important for me, because I applied for the official membership and the vote of trust . We have good reason to be happy, because as middle management everyone received vote of trust. By the way- we had a nice roll call !
Now it’s our time!

Sebastian announced :
AIESEC Toruń UMK... The General Assembly... monday, 28th day of June... How could I express my feelings that day? I've got Vote of Trust! I could present my ideas for the project AIESEC University! So many people have prepared their plans for new cadency. We showed all gathered on General Assembly about what our projects are, how big is our knowledge about AIESEC, what we are going to do on during the AIESEC way... that we are the only ones who could add wings to our committee and all the people must believe in us!
We laughed, we considered ... prevailing there, the atmosphere was amazing. So much happened in those several dozen square meters of hall at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń.

Last weekend our future OCPs tried to get knowledge about project management. Throughout two days they were working hard to get prepared to carry out projects. We hope that the training will be helpful in practice:)

Here is Natalia's relation from the training:

The OCP Days were very useful and our KL showed us in a fun-way how to be a good Team Manager, how to be coach, what is his role in a project, Branding rules, Delivery, Selling and Market Research. It will for sure help me during my project and team-work with my OCs. In these days I understood my function in a project, how to manage people and in the same time command respect among them. The atmosphere was great, because people who attend the session proved that they have so much ideas for their projects. They also put together fun and work. Thanks! I had a great time Finally met those people I'll see often in the AIESEC Office during our project, so we can learn a lot from each other :)

Hello guys:)

On 11 of June we had in our Local Committee last formal meeting - General Assembly. This time it was about exoneration of the management - Middle Management and Executive Board. All members of MM and EB got this honourable title. I want to thank all of you who created Local Committee in my term, thanks to everyone who contributed to making our LC such a great LC and thanks to those who almost anonymously contributed to the success of this term. Term 2009/2010. We made great, incredible work here. I wish you all the best in your next activities and function in LC. I have for you few words from Theodore Roosevelt: “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. Train the Trainers

On the 6th of June we have participated in a special workshops for future trainers. New Executive Board and LTT were gaining new skills in order to train members of the LC Toruń UMK. Our faci were: Kinga, Eunika, and Luiza. We learned how to build a valuable training, how to manage the group and how to match training to different groups of listeners.

As you probably know the new Executive Board 2010/2011 in 27-30 May participated in INPUT conference. These days were spent mainly on planning, in order to maximize the potential of our committee. Here U are a few words from
the new EB about INPUT conference…

"I was looking forward at INPUT right after MultiTO so my expectations were large. I am not diisapointed so it means it was great. It was other kind of conference but i definitely liked it. We spend much time at planning whole term 2010/11 just to make sure it will bring success to our LC. Plans are ambitious but surely we can make it!" Bartek

It's really great to feel that we are those who take care of LC Torun UMK! During INPUT conference we created many new ideas what will be implemented in new term, we planed all initiatives and focuses for LC Torun UMK. There was of course time for integration - I'm really happy that we have similar sense of humour, that we are open to talk about different things and...that we trust each other. I'm PROUD of my EB that we did a great job!!! Even if one of us - Kamila - couldn't be with us - she wrote messages and was asking how planning process looks like. Love you guys! I'm sure that this term will be the best time both for me and for U! :* Eunika

To be honest I didn't suspected that our planning will be without quarrels. But fortunately we were coherent and whole process of planning our cadence run smoothly. We really can cooperate with each others and because of this I was and I am really happy. We have great ideas and our comitee will see it during this year! We also had time for having fun and to integrate with members of other comitees. We took part in parties and specially as always we liked Global Village. Ola

kilka słów od LCPa na zakończenie kadencji...

Kochani,

tak jak obiecałam, napiszę teraz w kilku(nastu) słowach moje przemyślenia, wrażenia, takie tam..
Właśnie kończy mi się miejsce wolne na gmailu ale mam nadzieję, ze tego maila jeszcze załaduje;p

Tak naprawdę to nie wiem od czego zacząć, tyle chciałabym Wam powiedzieć...
Właśnie rozpoczęła się nowa kadencja, kadencja 2010/2011..
Oficjalnie oddałam stery w ręce nowej LCPi Euniki i jej Rady Wykonawczej.
Jednak zanim nowa kadencja już na full time zacznie działać chciałabym napisać kilka słów jeszcze o starej kadencji...

Wszystko zaczęło się w marcu kiedy zostałam wybrana na LCP. Zajęło mi to szmat czasu zanim w końcu zdecydowałam się aplikować, wcześniej nie chciałam być LCPem, nie chciałam brać odpowiedzialności za cały KL, męczyć się z tymi wszystkimi problemami jakie wtedy widziałam, podejmować to wyzwanie żeby w końcu coś w Komitecie zmienić...
Zrozumiałam, że to nie jest kwestia tego co się dzieje w KLu tylko tego jaką mam postawę, a jak sami widzicie byłam taką "narzekającą wiecznie starą babcią". W końcu jednak po wielu rozmowach z osobami z Komitetu, a szczególnie po rozmowach z kilkoma Alumni (za co bardzo dziękuję:) zdecydowałam się aplikować i muszę przyznać, że nie żałuję tej decyzji ani trochę:)

Kochani to był dla mnie niesamowity rok, pełnej przygód, wyzwań, podejmowania trudnych decyzji, samorozwoju i samodyscypliny, nauki pozytywnego myślenia, nie załamywania się w trudnych chwilach, wytrwałości w dążeniu do celu, pracy na wyznaczonych celach, pracy z zupełnie różnymi ludźmi, pracy w kilku zespołach jednocześnie, satysfakcji z osiąganych wyników oraz motywowania innych i siebie, nauczyłam się przez ten rok więcej niż się spodziewałam.

I powiem Wam tak nieskromnie, że Komitet również się zmienił, pozytywnie, zmienił się na lepsze:)
Jako EB 2009/2010 zostawiamy po sobie dobre wyniki wymianowe, niezły pipeline wymianowy dla kolejnej kadencji, zmotywowanych ludzi, którzy chcą się angażować w KLu, (doświadczoną, nową EB, jak widać również nowe MM jest/będzie mocno rozbudowane) no i przede wszystkim zbudowaliśmy, a przynajmniej w moim mniemaniu tak jest, odbudowaliśmy kulturę sukcesu w Komitecie, kulturę wymianową:)) Członkowie wiedzą czym jest plan wymianowy, praktycznie każdy ma styczność z wymianą w jakiejkolwiek postaci (raising, matching, recepcja), na każde eventy są zapraszani nasi praktykanci. Udało nam się również wprowadzić kilka innowacji, w naszej kadencji działały świetnie rzeczy, które wcześniej działały słabo lub nie miały miejsca jak np. regularne, dwutygodniowe spotkania MM, spotkania BoA, test na członka zwyczajnego, wymagania co do otwarcia projektu, OCP daysy, MMS, częste LCMy, wielkie zaangażowanie MM w działalność Komitetu, newslettery dla Alumni, działający LET i ICX subteam, LCC rekrutacyjne robione z Olsztynem, odnowiliśmy również biuro, a także nawiązaliśmy lepszą współpracę z władzami wydziału (Tydzień Ekonomisty), co przyczyniło się do tego, że otrzymaliśmy większy budżet;p no i wreszcie duża ilość delegatów z Torunia na konferencjach lokalnych i narodowych). JAko Komitet osiągaliśmy również sukcesy na arenie narodowej, nagroda dla najlepszej delegacji na KK, nagroda indywidualna na KK, 4 nagrody indywidualne na AutCo, stworzyliśmy Komitet, który ma największą dywersyfikację wymianową w AIESEC Polska, stworzyliśmy na początku kadencji nowe logo Komitetu oraz hasło które nas potem uskrzydlało: "SPREAD YOUR WINGS AND ACHIEVE IMPOSSIBLE!:) Poradziliśmy sobie w najtrudniejszych sytuacjach, działaliśmy dobrze mimo, że nie mieliśmy pełnego składu EB.

Kochani WIELKIE GRATULACJE DLA WAS I PODZIĘKOWANIA!!

Tego wszystkiego nie byłoby gdyby nie Wy, członkowie naszego Komitetu, osoby które pomogły Komitetowi osiągać sukcesy, które wpierały Komitet w codziennej działalności.

Chciałabym tutaj szczególnie podziękować mojej Radzie Wykonawczej:
Euniko, Luizo, KArolino, Łukaszu - dziękuję Wam za Wasze zaanagażowanie i motywację do działania, za Waszą kreatywność i odpowiedzialność, za ostre wymiany zdać, a jednocześnie cały czas za to, że to wszystko prowadziło rozwoju, że nic nas nie hamowało, że do końca dążyliśmy do realizacji naszych celów. Dziękuję za cały czas spędzony na planowaniu, na trakowaniu planu, na konferencjach, dziękuję za Waszą pracę działkową, za czas spędzony na konferencjach. Ma nadzieję, że będziecie ten rok wspominać równie dobrze jak ja, a doświadczenie wyniesione z pracy w EB wykorzystacie w przyszłości:)) Oczywiście Eunice i Łukaszowi życzę powodzenia w przyszłej kadencji i takiej satysfakcji po zakończeniu kadencji jaką ja czuję obecnie:**

Koleją grupą, której również baaaaardzo chciałabym podziękować jest moje ukochane Middle Management!
Kochani: Kamilo, Asiu J., Tomku, Asiu K., Bartku, Karolino, Olu, Maju, Aniu C., Doroto, Łukaszu, Agato, Marto, Aniu G., Malwino dziękuję Wam za Wasze zaangażowanie w projektach, za opiekę nad świeżynkami, za pomoc w przygotowaniach do LCCs do @weeków, za pomoc przy różnego rodzaju eventach, za to, że przychodziliście na spotkania MM przygotowani, za to, że byliście świetnie przygotowani do konferencji narodowych, za to, że Wasze projekty odniosły sukces, że to włąśnie dzięki Wam i Waszym projektom Komitet odniósł sukces!! Pamiętajcie o tym, że to właśnie Wy jesteście bepośrednimi wykonawcami i jednocześnie spadkobiercami tego naszego dobra Komitetowego:))) Dziękuję Wam również za to, że pomimo, że czasem narzekaliście na EB to i tak udało nam się świetnie współpracować, byliście najlepszym MM ever!! Pamiętajcie, że niektórzy OCPowie wiszą mi jeszcze AAR!

WIELKIE PODZIĘKOWANIA należą się także świeżynką, które są fundamentem i przyszłością Komitetu, kochani wykonywaliście i nadal robicie świetną robotę w Komitecie. Życzę Wam, żebyście wykorzystywali wszystkie okazje jakie staną na Waszej drodze, żebyście nie bali się podejmować nowe wyzwania, żeby AIESEC był dla Was źródłem praktycznej wiedzy, niezapomnianą przygodą i pasją, a przede wszytskim żebyście spotkali w tej oragnizacji mądrych ludzi od których będzie czerpać. I pamiętacie, że IM WIĘCEJ DACIE Z SIEBIE TEJ ORGANIZACJI TYM WIĘCEJ Z NIEJ WYNIESIECIE!:)

“The most extraordinary game I have ever played was Samurai Game. It checks our teamwork, responsiblity among a group of people and trust which is really important in achieving one goal. And because of the game of course we integrated with each other better and we knew better our strenghts and weaknesses while fighting together.”

"It was our first national conference together. I knew thatit will be something special but what it turned into far exceeded my expectations! Now I feel that we are a real team! We had great fun all the time and I think thatToruń was one of the most recognizable delegations on that conference. Everyone of us could meet their commissions, so we had occasion to talk with the guys just like us from other cities. It was great experience to share my opinion with them and talk about interesting us issues. I can honestly say that it was the best conference in my life.Hopefully, until INPUT :D"

“Multito ! come on guys !! It was amazing conference!! We had a good fun together and we also integrated with other delegations. Few of us were talking with fMCP, some of us were dancing with her. We had interesting sessions about team management, feedback etc. Other people told us that we seem to like each other and we are integrated - it was really nice to hear it :) Together we took part in boatracing, but unfortunately we only won brownmedal ;). On Saturday we were playing Samurai game. By this game we checked our strength, motivation, coordination, memory and specially endurance. This few hours of play showed us how important is the leader, rallying point, good strategy, observations and teamwork. We understood that every member is important to achieve our aim. “

Team Days Nowej Rady :)

It all started on Saturday morning. We got up full of energy, wondering what is waiting for us. We did not know where we’ll go and what we do. We were told to arrive at 9:30 at the East Railway Station. It turned out that we are going to Kamionek! Hurrah:)
Journey last about 15 minutes, we traveled by train. Already on the road, I knew it would be an unforgettable weekend. I saw the smiles on their faces, good humor and a lot of energy ....
He was not mistaken ... TD were great :)

This place was very beautiful and wonderful, quiet close to Torun with very nice view.This place was Situated near the lake and surrounded by lush green beauty which made the atmosphere really soothing and very relaxing.It was really nice sitting on the lakeside and talking and taking a lot of pictures. It was quiet good fun with all AIESEC EB members.We arrived to this place on Saturday morning and came back Torun on Sunday evening.We were cooking together and having lot of talks. It was quiet friendly and comfortable discussing with everyone as, all of us were in quiet good mood .

It was our first trip as an EB 10/11. I had no expectations before it, but it became a great time.We were having sessions with our LCP during two days of our stay in Kamionki. It enabled us to work out our working principles and to know each other better, giving a chance to see every of us in the different light. Those Team Days were a great kick of motivation for me. Of course I'm aware of the fact that planning is still before us. But I'm sure that we can create our vision and achieve our future goals in the term 2010/2011 if only we will remember to be together.

It was amazing two days which We spent together. During breaks between our sessions we was taking a picture which present us. We have taken many photos and videos Some of them are funny and other are serious. There are some photos which make me smile when I am looking at. The best photos are done by ourselves. It is know as “ z rączi focia”. I truly believe that this photos will be great memories…

The evening time was really amazing. We got to know each other better in less formal situations ;) We played different drinking games such as Kings and Zumi. We had a great fun and the consequences were obvious :D We were talking about a lot of different things which we haven't thought to talk about sooner. Our LCP got tired bout qq p.m. so at this time we could finally get honest with other VPs :D Of course the night was closed by the men's part of EB: we were talking to the late night hours :]

And then after those two days of hard work, great ideas, lots of fun we had to came back home. Just after getting off the train we went into the center to spend much time together and to eat a little dinner. We spent about 1 hour in the restaurant chatting, laughing and of course eating;) We took some photos, cause surely we love them;) After this, when everybody was full with great regret we agreed that it is high time we had gone home. And now we are looking forward to have next Team Days! At best, in the nearest time;)

For me it was really amazing time. It was a time when all VPs and me had first meeting together for a longer time and could know each other better. Each one of us is different as it's usual in Executive Board :) but we can cooperate and what is more important - we want to create a great team! I know that I will not forget those 2 days in Kamionki - VPs joke when I came back to them and they dissapeard, evening games and morning talks, conversation about LC vision, common meals, talks, laughts... Great time, great people, great memories!

EB team day

Last Tuesday your EB has been having their Team Days. We went to Ciechocinek , where we had a lot of fun and relaxed. We started our trip from breakfast, as you can see we ate ice cream :) and we created very valuable message to the local committee :) you can see it on my facebook profile. Right after that we decided to go to "tęznia" and took few pictures with the view. Our next step was to hit the pool, we swam for about an hour and sat in saunas for another one. After that we suddenly got hungry so we ordered some food. We had a walk through the city and laughed all the time with the rhythm of Ciechocinek's songs. Finally we, as the women part of EB had a manicure and our VP F got an exciting massage :) Here are some pictures from our fabulous day! Remember that it is worth working for the committee and devote time for AIESEC because on days like this one it's all getting back to you!

CSR ECOLOGICAL TORUŃ PROJECT
CSR Ecological Toruń is a project addressed to local enterprises, national companies and students. We want to educate students and explain them what is Corporate Social Responsibility. This project relies on promotion of environmental aspects of corporate responsibility. One of our objectives is to set up an event, where companies will depict their CSR policy. We are going to provide interns from abroad to work in our region in CSR’s departments in local enterprises.

Our event will take place on 6th May 2010, so see you in Economy and Management Faculty!

Let me introduce our great team! An Organising Committee President is Anna Gruba. She is a student of European Studies and is keen on politics, history, Ireland and EU. She was a member of AIESEC Charity project.

Our Organising Committee Vice President is Andżelika Dudek. She studies economy and loves chocolate. She was a member of Career Days project.

Agnieszka Bauer economy as well. She likes to bike and her favourite season is spring. In CSR Ekologiczny Toruń she is Exchange Organising Committee.

Beata Dybikowska is a student management, likes to dance and loves animals. In our project she is responsible for External Relations.

Ewa Stachera studies law. Her interests are ecology, snowboard and Arabic culture. She in responsible for Marketing and Communication.

SUMMER CAMP

Summer Camp is a project that relies on promotion of voluntary services. It is directed to non-government organizations – foundations, associations and travel agencies which organize camps or lead projects for children, youth and handicapped people during the summer. We are going to provide trainees from abroad to help those organizations and give participations of the camps and projects possibilities to contact with different culture, language and attitude.

My name is Agata Grzywińska and I am a student of international relations. I am crazy about people and AIESEC gives me a chance to meet them. I like horses and very diverse music, from rock to classic. Now I'm OCP Summer Camp and I strongly believe that we will build a great team and achieve goals we've set. The conference was for me an amazing time to take part in many trainings, have a lot of fun and the most important - know people who I will cooperate with. The best memory from the conference is Gala when I saw my team.

My name is Ada Nakielska. I'm an OC VP in Summer Camp, which is a big distinction and enormous chalenge for me. I am a student of International Relations and European Studies with Italian Philology. My main interests are connected with Italy (especially culture and politic). I love Italian language and Bari - the most beautiful place in the world. The conference in Bachotek was really amazing. We had a possibility to attend many interesting trainings. The most important event for me was Gala (of course!) where we could finally meet our newees :). After all everyone came back home with new energy. Wow, it is such a great feeling to be responsible for other people.

My name is Anna Mrzewa, I’m 20 years old. I come from a little town named Rychwał. I study administration at the second year. I’m an open, cheerful and ambitious person. If I assign myself any task I try to realize it in 100%. On my face you can almost always see smile . I know how to listen other people and when I'm able to I try to give an advise and help. I love to dance, that’s why I like parties so much :P. I always think that you can get to know somebody not by description but by being with LCC Bachotek was my first conference. I’m sure that I will remember it till the end of my life. It was fantastic! I learned a lot about AIESEC but also I got a strong motivation to function and a lot of positive energy as well. People who were there with me are great! Everyone is very open, nice and helpful. I wish that all of the conferences would be just like that!

Karolina Mądraszewska: Hi! I am Karolina. I study political science. Reading is an activity, which I like very much. I love dogs. I don’t mind going on a party;)
Our conference was an interesting experience. I find amazing that information from sessions will be useful in the future. We had also a lot of laugh, it was good fun ;)

Katarzyna Haydasz: Our first conference was really successful. Fristly, we met EB and other AIESECers and newees. There was also our first international guest – Alioune from Senegal. We didn't have free time – from 9 to almost night we had sessions and between sessions there were some games which let us know each other better . For me the Best moment was Gala when I met my OCP Agata, OCP VP Ada and the whole team Summer Camp. After 3 days we return homes full of motivation and passion to work hard in teams on the Project. Kasia is a very nice person who loves reading books and jogging when she has time (usually she hasn’t).

Name: Sebastian Przybył Interests: MUSIC (listening and creating), skiing, new technology, everything related to space exploration, C-walk, Geography Favorite color: Black For me it was the second conference, but the first since I've been a member of AIESEC.
We were going to the village Bachotek which is located on the Bachotek lake, near Brodnica. Our destination was a resort on Bachotek Lake UMK. Typically we were greeted by a lot of lowland flora of coniferous forests, small streams and the lake. Shortly after the bus had left, everyone got keys to his room and a few minutes later the opening session started, where the new members - called Newees, were greeted, with applause. The same day we had some interesting trainings, which have introdused newees to the AIESEC world - what is AIESEC, why exists and what we will do in the organization. The whole event closed with the thematic party named "Welcome to the jungle". For the next day there were planned many trainings. They told us for example how and what we can sell in AIESEC and how the international exchange of students works . There was also lots of fun like Energizer's and the most interesting - AIESEC Dances, which came to like to other people and, moreover, everyone started to dance with the rest of the group. The event finished on Saturday with the party "ja noszę dres" ("i wear a tracksuit"). Throughout it was a day that we could really learn a lot from. The last day we had training of communication, which was chaired by our LCP (Local Committee President) ... They didn't give us lunch, but it's understandable because of the additional costs. The most important thing of the day for us was to join the projects, that were chaired by their OCP's (try to guess what does it mean: P). To me, Ania, Karolina and Kasia fell the Agata's project "Summer Camp". I was very happy with this assignment because it was 1 of 2 projects which I was hoping to get to ... Because of that I'm the only man in the group, my team started to call me "rodzynek", which means "rasin" : D

SCHOOLS WITH PASSIONS

Actually it is the one and only project in our commitee which is mostly based on realizing an international partnerships . We offer private language schools cooperation with high qualified students from countries like United States, Australia, New Zealand and other English-language countries based on teaching. We want to share passion with other people, which we put into our activities which will leads us to success. Right now our success is well-integrated team, what means that for next successes you won’t have to wait very long.

My name is Lukas and so far I am an OCP of great project Schools with Passion. I am so happy being a leader of such great members that I have in my team. Participating this kind of AIESEC is like complementing my life plan: Can you squeeze out more from your life? So far - Yes, I can! Doing some extra stuff in simple student’s life is such a great experience for the future. This kind of stuff that I do now is my hobby and an idea for spending my free time. It's really enjoyable to do thing that you like with people you like. So as can you see I’m a happy man and this is my goal - to be always happy! Besides I love playing tennis ;)

Magda Boć – Organising Committee External Relations

I'm Magda and I'm 21. I decided to sign in to the AIESEC because I wanted to go for DT, and so far I am very keen on my decision;)) In my project Schools With Passion I'm responsible for External Relations. I'm a very positive person with a great imagination. I'm a great fan of gangster movies and also Al Pacino. I'm hopeless cook, but I keep on trying to improve my skills ;) I try to break the stereotype of women as a terrible car driver, with pretty good result;p I really want to visit Barcelona, since I watched Woody Allen's film.

My favorite sentence is: “You will never win if you never begin”. In our Committee I am responsibly for Promotion and Public Relation.

DIVERSITY WEEKEND
Diversity Weekend is a project aimed at trainees from various countries around the world. They come to Poland in order to gain valuable experience. Our task is to arrange for their time, the arrival of Torun. This will be one of the weekends, where we want to best introduce them to the city and monuments of Toruń. During the outbreak many interesting stories to tell that hides itself Torun, and Sunday afternoon will be able to demonstrate their physical fitness.

Our Team consists of five persons:

Malwina Rutkowska: project coordinator: "I am studying the management on the first year. I am responsible for the conduct of all the work for the project and focus on the development of new people in the organization who are in my project."

Tomasz Włottkowski: Deputy Coordinator for external contacts. "In the organization I am a year. Along with Jakub Zająkała-member team deals with contacting the companies and looking for a financial partner who will support the project.

Marta Franciszczak-member team. ,, I'm Martha, I study international relations, and come with Starogard Gdański. I create the offer and promotion project. "

Marta Okuła-member team.,, I'm Marta, studying English philology, and my dream is to travel to Germany for the year. The project was responsible for logistics. It's up to me to work on putting together our plan for the entire weekend. "

Jakub Zająkała - member team. Piano is my best friend during long, cold evenings. To be honest I’ve gotta say (write) here, that I don’t like sports, except all of them, in which moving is needed ;) So my beloved sports are: long distance running, basketball, gym.

My another interests are turned onto computers and modern gadgets, listening to (and also creating my own) the music.

Aside from that my passion is – as long as I live – stars, suns, planets, and whole Universe. I’m really into it. Even… when I was a child in my dreams I saw myself as an astronaut. Now I realized, that this is - maybe not impassible, but - so far away from my and I’ve my feet more fixed on the ground. Now my voyages (done and in progress;)) are connected with the earth, I’m interested in knowing new places, meeting new people, understanding foreign cultures.

I like trips and I’m waiting for the times, in which I’ll have time for that, what I like.

I can’t complain, but this is just me.

AIESEC WELLNESS
Project is aimed at the town of a resort such as the Escort and Inowroclaw as well as hotels. The project is based on the exchange of ICX. 6 brave young people: Anita, Marlena, Marta, Michał, Monika and Paulina wants to reach out to resources not previously considered in the process raisingu in our committee. AIESEC WELLNESS provides opportunities: promoting spa centers in the international collaboration of the clients from abroad, as well as the use of international traineeships. We wish to promote active lifestyles among students and society, to this end we plan to carry out EVENT dedicated to this subject. AIESEC WELLNESS allows us to engage in innovative design, and thus gives us the opportunity to face challenges.

My name is Anita Jarońska. About AIESEC i learned from my friend who is with me on my year of studies. she is also in AIESEC. I don't regret that I'm here. I think it is one of the best decisions I've made in my life. Currently I'm on the first year of International Studies on NCU in Toruń. My passion is reading books, learning foreign languages, especially English and Spanish. My fascination is also dancing: line salsa, salsa Rueda de Casino, bachata and merengue. I also find pleasure with singing. I like animals and nature, very much. But the thing which I think is the most important is meeting new, interesting and full of experience people - being in AIESEC gives me that opportunity. I'm resposible for exchange.

Marta Michalska - An Organising Commitee Project. Hmmm ... laughs frequently and strongly believes in herself. I am positive about the life of a girl who decided to take a position role and lead the project AIESEC WELLNESS. I study the administration and contrary to stereotypes, it makes me happy. @ I came to in October 2009, the time spent in this organization can be defined as: an amazing experience that I wish to continue. My passion is the people, they make the most of my life.

Hi! I'm Michał Brzuszkiewicz, I am 21 years old and I am a student of 3 years of business management. I am an AIESEC member since March 2010, I hope that thanks to the work of organizations have gained experience that is necessary to work in the international arena. I like people who like to laugh, and club Manchester United. I'm responsible for External Relations.

EuroXpro 2010 - LCPe in Turkey!!

I would like to share with you my thoughts about one conference I attended a couple of days ago...
It started on Saturday 14th of March. I had to resign from the last day of LCC and go to Warsaw and then.... to Istanbul! :)

On 15th of March the EuroXpro conference has started. The conference where 52 countries from 6 different continents met to share experience, knowledge, see when AIESEC wants to go during next few years and to encourage countries to cooperate with each other more.

Each day of the conference was unique. On Monday we had Oficial opening ceremony with huge Global Village at Sabanci University and then we went to Silviri - the place the conference took part.
Then on Tuesday we started to have sessions. What I have to say is that the opening plenary lasted... 4 hours! Each country was doing roll-call, shout and there was intro to the conference.
New Competency Model, 4 AIESEC pillars, new website of AIESEC International, deep statistics of AIESEC globally, LCP and MC role - and many more really relevant sessions we had to increase our awareness of the organisation and to make us better prepared to our term.

I had many "wow" moments during this conference. One of them was on the statistics session where we was told about countries, results, numbers of exchanges and growth. I realized that Poland is really important country in AIESEC network and we are simply the best! Many times we were shown as an example for others. I felt really proud of that I am from Poland.

I wish you all to have the opportunity to attend EuroXpro (It's good to be an LCP!!). It is amazing opportunity to know other people, other countries, see how AIESEC looks like in different Growth Networks and to feel real international atmosphere.

One my friend from EuroXpro said that you will not feel the real AIESEC if you won't be on such conference. I totally agree. So many people from under 50 countries. It was for sure my best conference and I don't know if there will be another one such magnificent like that was. So wish you to be an LCP :)

LCC - Newees, projects

After AIESEC week the tradition is the LCC to occur. This time it was in Bachotek. What has happened there? A lot of good fun, integration and getting to know our newees. All of them are very ambitious and have a lot of potential. The key learning points from the conference were for them selling, AIESEC culture and communication. The biggest event was Gala where our OCPs got their neewes.

Mateusz Modzelewski - OCP of LCC

Between 12th and 14th of March 2010 has been held Local Committee Conference in Bachotek. There were four different tracks for: newees, EPs, future MM and future EB. Wódz from friendly LC Olsztyn was a Chair. He was a great animator and showed us a broad sense of humor.

For me as an OCP it was fantastic time. This quick project have learnt me how to work in stress. I feel that I spread up my winds.

During the LCC Newees had sessions about The AIESEC Way, Importance of eXchange, selling and many more. MM members had session with our Alumni: Łukasz Trzeszczkowski. He learnt as about leadership. Aslo Ania Florek, Jakub Zieliński, Marek Adamski and Michał Mierzejewski our Alumnis were there.

General Meeting - OCP/Executive Board 2010/2011

It’s good to be - It’s good to be an OCP.

After very hard time of preparation to manage the project we can say with a satisfaction I am an OCP – On 8^th of march there was a General Meeting where four members of our comity were gained a vote of trust. Candidates had to present their ideas and visions of project and then they answered 5 rounds of questions.

Finally after fight with stress and difficult questions every candidate got a vote of trust and became on OCP of second round of projects.

Now we have 5 new OCPs – Łukasz Papaj, Anna Gruba, Agata Grzywińska, Marta Michalska, Malwina Rutkowska and 3 new OCVPs – Andżelika Dudek, Monika Łuszczyńska, Adriana Nakielska. Before them is a big challenge. They must face up to lead a team, introduce newees to AIESEC and achieve the goals they set.

The 3^rd of March… It was that DAY, doom’s DAY, the day we were going to end our common trip. The 3^rd of March, Wednesday, was the day of the greatest event in our Local Committee – Career Days. At the same time, there were also trainings and workshops during Academy of Skills, which took place form Tuesday till Thursday (2-4 March 2010) Whole Academy of Skills team must be applauded for their hard work and great success of Academy. Nevertheless, the most important day in this week was THE DAY. Our whole team have been working for this one DAY since October ( OCP and OCVPs since June) and everyone of us were thrilled for a few days before Wednesday. We got to know what it means exactly to organize the biggest work fair in Poland. There was a lot of challenges including logistical, promotional and budget ones but in my opinion we can honestly say that we made it!

During Wednesday there was much less work to do than I expected and we haven’t had almost any problems. That moment made me realize that we have done a good job in preparing the event few days before. We were walking among the co

mpanies stands and asking if there is something we can do, hardly no one has asked for help – everything was prepared. During the day we could enjoy Capoeira show which attracted a lot of spectators. There also was an interesting competition with some valuable prizes.

At the end of the fair, when we were approaching companies to thank them for coming and say “Good bye” we heard plenty of warm words about our work and preparation of Career Days

. The end of fair was not the end of the day for us – we had a lot of work to do, like cleaning the hall and getting all the things done. In the evening we were really exhausted but felt that we have done a great job, so we decided to award ourselves with a beer. Unfortunately, without Academy of Skills team, which had a lot of work to do before the last day of trainings, but I am sure that we will work it out later .

I am really thankful to all the people of Career Days team and all members of AIESEC who helped us in organizing this project.

It is time for spring recruitment to AIESEC UMK Torun. From the day 24.02. to 3.03 we went to gain our university. We were at the Faculty of Pedagogy, Philology, Political sciences and Mathematics and Computer Sciences. It was great fun. We had met many people and had an opportunity to introduce our organization and talk about our experiences. The result of our hard work are all "świeżynki" who surprise us every day.

One of the greatest ideas of our Diversity Team was to go wall climbing with our trainees. For most of us it was the first time climbing but everyone had fun and everyone reached the top. What is the most funny, few of us had a fear of heights - we overcame our weaknesses. We imagined our goals and we tried to achieve them with a success.

26 January was very stressful day for few of our members. Agata Grzywińska, Marta Michalska, Łukasz Politowski and Michał Bytniewski were trying to became an official member.

With a big pleasure I want to proclaim that all of them are new official members of AIESEC Toruń UMK.

The first LCM in New Year

Last Thursday there was Local Committee Meeting in our committee. Kamila was the Master of Ceremony. We started the meeting with small interaction (something like blow game conceived by Modzel). Then Kinga, Malwina and Michał told us something more about National Conference in which we have attended recently. Each of them were taking part in different tracks (Kinga - LCP track, Malwina – future OCP track and Michał – future EB track). After this Kinga gave us some information about exchange situation in our committee and also interesting events that are going to take place in the near future (LCVP finance election in a few days, LCP election in february, Career Days in march etc.). Afterwards Mateusz conducted a really funny game for all the teams. It checked our knowledge about ourselves and showed how well we know each other . Now we know what music Karolina listens to and how Diversity Team takes care of our interns:)

The Best Delegation on KK

On January took place another conference where strong delegation from Toruń won The Best Delegation award. Photos show that we deserved it:

For me it was a very unique conference.
The workshops were
valuable as usual but the
most important thing this time was… the companion of peopleJ People from other LCs and what’s most crucial – from my LC. I came to NatCo to spend time with them, to feel the spirit of our committee and I am really happy cause I felt it! I can say I'm integrated with people I’ve know a little and those I’ve known better. I realized that I’m a part of this big team and the best is still unknown and obtainable.

During one of the sessions I felt convinced to my prior decisions and now I’m sure what I am going to do. And I’m really glad to see people from dfferent places with similar interests and vision to mine.

This conference is the beginning of something completely new for me and I’ve never felt so much intent about making the right decision. Whatever is going to come, I have positive attitude because of the people who are around me:)

This conference was time to lay the foundations for our future work in Executive Board. However, subjects of our sessions weren't what I exactly expected. Some of them hadn't any input to my knowledge. On the contrary, some have raised quite new subjects. There were two sessions with external companies. First of them delivered us knowledge about giving and receiving "Feedback" and second one about "Brand Managment".
Unfortunately the first one was a total review of what we've already known. Quite contrary was second sesion which was much more interesting.

On the second hand thanks to networking I was able to obtain information that helped me in choosing position I would like to fulfil in future. It means that thanks to people's experience I got information and clues I needed.

That conference was also time of great fun. We won the BEST DELEGATION award. Which means that we completed our objective.

Eunika opinion:
For me it was one of best conferences ever. MCP Elections - deciding for the future of AIESEC in Poland, great preparation and integration of our Committee which resulted The Best Delegation Award... Functional meetings and workshops with externals - all those things influenced on my mood and motivation to work. I'm looking forward next national conference and I would like to encourage you to participate in Spring Conference in March :)

It was my second national conference. It wasn't something new for me - but it was amazing. I met a lot of people from whole Poland, but what I valued the most that I got to know better members from our local committee. Fact, that we were THE BEST DELEGATION make this conference unusual. Now I see how great is our committee and how fantastic people we have.

Hey guys! I have this honor to share my view of what has happened at NatCo 2010. Emotions throughout whole conference were so various that they made me literally fell down from the chair :) VP X together with VP ER were chased by boars... There were lots of aliens during the second party and our Alumni had a great performance on the national level, starting great cooperation with Member Committee. From the facts: the new MCP Elect became Katarzyna Molenda with the final result of 10 votes for her and 5 against in the third round ending general assembly at 3:30 in the morning, because of that Global Village has been removed from the agenda, nevertheless it was a big step for AIESEC Polska to chose the new President, that is going to represent our country on upcoming IPM conference in Tunisia. EB has planned upcoming events and exchange goal for the next 6 months, what will be presented at MM meeting wednesday, January 13. And last but not the least :) Our delegation received the award for the best delegation !!!! We haven't gotten this award since NatCo 2007. I'm very proud of all the delegates and I' motivated to work for the next 5 months and realize our exchange plans. I strongly do believe that as a committee we can and we will achieve our goal(30+20) and we will become legendary, just spread your wings and achieve impossible! I love You Your VP X
